This is from the first of only two batches of model 66's using the AA serial numbers made in 1924, Sept and Dec.

Serial number AA069712 dates this machine to September 23. All other 66's were rear clamping feet up to early 1923. Singer started using the side clamping foot for the 66 somewhere around March.

This has the side clamping foot so it can use the common Singer low shank side clamping feet. This is a Rare Antique Singer Treadle Sewing Machine Head.

does need to be cleaned but I will leave that to a pro so I dont mess anything up. the bottom of the sewing machines case opens up for storage. has an electric foot pedal and carrying case. this sewing machine still works properly. it was the first successful small motor that set off the electric sewing machine craze. motor was designed by Phillip DIEHL of the DIEHL MFG CO. the rare red eye paint job this was only used between 1910 and the late 1920's. Much care will be taken during packaging. When the table top is fulley extended it measures 471/2' I have tried to provide enough pics for you to determine its condition. The table top measures approximately 17' W by 35 1/2'L. The entire cabinet was been refinished by the person I recovered it from. The locks on the side drawers and center drawer are functional and open with the manufactured flat key provided. The cast iron base will be dismantled for shipping. The cabinet stands approximately 28 1/8' tall. The spring is intact on the belt shifter and comes with the metal pitman arm. The legs are marked Singer Manufacturing CO.
